The heart behind the art:
“I wanted to create another Canadian design for 2017. What better way to represent Canada than the symbolic maple leaf. I collected and creatively photographed a series of fall maple leaves in all shapes and sizes. In this design you will find a plethora of colours ranging from deep burgundy reds, bright reds, maroons, oranges, to burnt yellows and mustard yellows. After photographing the leaves, I combined them into this composition, complimented with the textures of brushstrokes.” –KB
