“A song that captivated me, while sitting in one of my favourite places… Yup! Starbucks. ;) The lyrics in the line are “Float like a feather, finally free...” Isn’t that beautiful? Something about this line captured my senses to create this piece. That visual image of feather, freely flowing in the wind on a calm day… up, down, over, quick and then slow… to be guided by the wind, gently to the earth. There is something so gentle about a feather. In this design, I imagined that lone feather, cascading to the ground, joining others, fading into a gentle mass of white. Just being. Free.” – KB
